In 2020, 300 meters east of the village of Sinagovtsi, a new settlement from the Roman era has been found. This unknown object is registered on an area of 47 decares, next to a river Vidbol (a tributary of the Danube), in the flood terrace of the river and 4 km from its confluence with the Danube.

Today the terrain is flat due to the formation of orchards fields from the socialism and due to floods from the river, which formed sediments of ca. 1.2-2.5 meters.

The natural terrain in antiquity and the Middle Ages was quite different and strongly displaced in the direction of the riverbed.

As a result of preliminary research, they were discovered archaeological structures, cultural layers, materials and finds from six different epochs:

- Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages;

- Early Roman era: I century BC. - I century AD;

- Roman imperial era, principality: II-III century;

- Medieval era: IX - X century;

- Christian necropolis, probably from the Ottoman period.

These layers include buildings from the Roman era, which are in perfectly preserved condition. There are several kilns for ceramics and those with household purposes.

So far, five graves with a Christian burial ritual have been discovered, apparently part of a much larger necropolis.

The finds from 2020, which number about 200, make a strong impression. These are coins from Roman antiquity (denarii, sesterces, aces, etc.), ceramic pots, brooches, silver earrings, other jewelry, a whole collective find of agricultural tools, etc. Among the finds are rare for Bulgaria denarii of Mark Antony and The Roman Republic from the II-I century BC.
