More than 200 hectares of land in the village of Tamnjanica near Bela Palanka are under lavender, immortelle, roses and blueberries, and the plantations and distillery where essential oils are made were made by Ljiljana Petrovic, who came up with the idea to revive her grandfather's village 10 years ago. The beginnings were not easy, because it was necessary to buy small pieces of land from various owners in a large estate. Bought 2,000 plots from almost 700 owners. When she built a distillery, she realized that she could not do it alone - so she started bringing people who would produce and process plants on soil that has a climate similar to the Mediterranean, in a village between the Sićevačka gorge and Suva planina. She started talking to her friends and acquaintances and they bought land, some 5 ha, some 10, some 8, some 20-30 and planted plants. They help them distill and appear on the market together. The market is a living thing, so immortelle is not at the price at the moment, because many in the Balkans have started to produce it. That is why her recommendation is to do more cultures, and she reoriented herself to the home-grown rose and the chamomile novel, while she placed lavender on the French market. Thanks to her, under the brand ""Tamnjanica eco plantation"", she now produces dozens of people, the village is reviving, but it lacks infrastructure. Despite the fact that this woman built access roads, did a lot of land consolidation, built a transformer station for her needs, dug wells, and lacks a lot of infrastructure. The future of its development will also depend on the arrangement of this village. In addition to all these shortcomings, the biggest problem is the lack of water. With the promise of the Ministry of Agriculture to help the realization of the project of a new water supply system for the village of Tamnjanica and the insistence to solve that problem as soon as possible, the municipal administration postpones this project only at the insistence of our company which initiated and realized (financially) the Terms of Reference. Municipal administration to take further steps: preparation of the Preliminary Design, collection of bids and start of works. So far, only the Project Task has been done, and the Municipal Administration is not reporting to us what is happening next, and we will have to intervene again on that issue. It is very important that this project is realized and completed by the beginning of summer next year, because despite travel restrictions, due to the pandemic of the virus, we are definitely facing the season of visits, because people stay outdoors and there are no problems with smaller spaces. That is why it is very important to complete the water supply project, and then to start the realization of the project of the Ethno village Tamnjanica Plantaže, in order to increase the accommodation capacities. Another burning problem of the village of Tamnjanica is that there is no asphalt road, which is in addition to being bad and inadequate for the arrival of buses in the village. These are two priority things that must be done in the village, in order to be accepted by tourists. In the end, the third problem remains the increase of accommodation capacities, and that would be solved by building an ethno village and adapting certain houses in the village. Accommodation capacities must be increased (in addition to urgent water supply and asphalting of roads in the village) and in this regard it would mean a lot to help both our country and international, European funds to increase the number of ethno houses that would be renovated to accommodate tourists. for the realization of the project that started on Plantaža, and refers to the construction of the Spa center and Ethno village Tamnjanica Plantaža. An urban plan was made and location conditions were obtained for the mentioned projects (Spa center and Ethno village) and Preliminary projects for both projects were made. Now they are waiting for investments and to start the realization of projects. The Spa center project would be closely connected with our company and would mean the expansion of production capacities, because the entire spa program would be done in our company (oils, oil waters, soaps, shampoos, etc.). There are several houses with accommodation units, but that is still not enough, because our visitors are mostly tourist tours that come by buses, and that is then about 50 guests, who have to be accommodated at once. In this regard, the current accommodation capacities are insufficient and the number of accommodation units needs to be increased urgently. First of all, Tamnjanica Plantaže, the Roman road ""Via Militaris"" (which is now renovated), which connects the municipality of Bela Palanka with Niška Banja (about 20 km), Niška Banja itself and its contents, the mountain peak Trem (1,810 m above sea level) ), Monasteries in the vicinity: Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Veta, St. Friday in Ostrovica, Sv. Nikola in Prosek, Sv. Bogorodice in Sićevo, Sukovo and Poganovo towards Pirot, etc., the village of Kunovica where the Battle of Kunovica took place (Turkish soldiers, even the sultan's son were buried after this battle in a place belonging to Plantaža), Banica Days in the municipality of Bela Palanka, events and places in the vicinity of Pirot, Stara planina, Wine cellar and restaurant in Malča, Svrljiške planine across the village Tamnjanica, Kalna and other tourist places on the slopes of Svrljiške planine, Niš (about 25 km), with its facilities: fortress, monuments, cultural facilities festivals, etc., are only a part of the tourist offer, which is very rich, diverse and with the potential of constant upgrading, which sets this space apart from similar ones, because in such a small space there is certainly not so much diverse and complete content. And with the financial incentive that this space and the planned projects deserve, the offer would only be completed and made to attract many more foreign tourists. Production of essential oils and other products from them, production of natural products from fruits and vegetables, or medicinal and aromatic plants, and the plan is to start workshops for making natural cosmetics, but also old crafts within the Ethno village Tamnjanica and the church that would renewed. Other manifestations listed here, concerning Bela Palanka, Pirot and Nis, are mostly already known. We can offer a tour of the Plantation, the art and sculpture colony ""Pygmalion"" and its gallery of outdoor sculptures (which makes it unique in Europe), made of the finest stone, with a tendency to constantly increase the number of exhibits, after each colony, buying Plantations, harvesting and fruit and vegetable products (the beginning of more serious cultivation of the autochthonous variety of paprika ""belopalanka vrtka"" etc. is planned. Only a part of what is still being opened as possibilities and what would be realized is stated.
